NIKE AIR STREAK SPECTRUM PLUS -SHOE REVIEW: This shoe has to be seen to be believed. It lists for $74.95 and comes in a under 5 oz.!!!!! It is designed for races through the marathon. It is wide, and has the ride of training flat, and easily accommodates good sized orthotics. I have used it in two half marathons and two 10K track tempo runs and it is a great shoe.
I wore these in the Boston Marathon and they were great. I think it is a good update. My feet still hurt after a marathon, but these shoes are the best ride you can get with just enough cushioning for the long run.

SPIKES
The New Nike Milers are incredible. I have worn them all summer. They fit like a glove, and they are very responsive. There is just enough heel lift to save the Achilles and lots of get up and go when you really need it. I see lots of elites wearing them over the mile distance, but I would be careful there.
